The ONDC network has launched a pan-network Corporate Gift Card ahead of the upcoming festive season.

The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has launched an ‘ONDC Network Gift Card’ for Corporate gifting ahead of the festive season.
The Gift Card could be used by the consumers to purchase or buy from any buyer app on the network.
Unlike other online gift cards that are platform-specific, the ONDC Network Gift Card could be used to buy any product available on the network through the apps functioning as buyer apps. The card could be sponsored by companies for their employees.
Speaking on the announcement of the card, T Koshy, the CEO and MD of the ONDC mentioned how the card would provide increased access to consumers for buying from homegrown brands and small businesses.
The gift cards have a maximum voucher limit of INR 10,000 and are currently issued by YES Bank and Omni Card.
What can you buy using the ONDC Network Gift Cards?
With a specified maximum limit of INR 10,000, the gift cards can be used by consumers to buy from a plethora of products being sold on the network.
The release of the card is timed just ahead of the festive season to promote the sales of local products. From traditional sarees to decorative items, the consumer has a choice to select the product they wish to buy with no conditions on the usage of the card for specific products.
However, the product must be listed on a buyer app on the Open Network for Digital Commerce, some of which are-
Paytm, Mystore, Craftsvilla, MagicPin, Pincode, and Meesho.
Going ahead, other banks and Fintechs would be offering the Corporate Gift Card.
