Govt Okays Rs 114.8 Cr For Rajasthan To Develop MSME Sector  

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said on Thursday that the central government has approved Rs 114.80 crore for the state under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) programme. 

The fresh funds will give a boost to MSME enterprises of Rajasthan and help improve their capacity. According to the CM, the funding will also help in meeting the financial needs of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) towards achieving the goals of Developed India-Developed Rajasthan. 

The RAMP programme is a Central Sector Scheme by the Ministry of MSMEs. The scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2022. Under this scheme, the state has obtained approval for an amount worth Rs 114.80 crore under a strategic investment plan. 

Industry and Commerce Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore stated that the funds received under the RAMP programme will help in achieving the goals of the schemes and programmes that are run by the state as well as  central governments for MSMEs

This will also help in creating a positive atmosphere for industrial investment in the state.
