A Micro Enterprise, also known as a microbusiness is a small business that employs a few people and usually has a small amount of capital. They are usually owned by families or solo-run and focus on providing goods and services for their local communities. In a micro enterprise, the investment is less than Rs. 1 crore and turnover is less than Rs. 5 crore.

Some examples of Medium Enterprises include, Medium-sized manufacturing plants like auto parts and textiles, Hospitals and Clinics, Construction Companies, Wholesale and Distributors, Hotels and Resorts, etc.

An MSME Certificate is an official document issued by the Indian Government, in which it confirms that a company meets the parameters of being a Micro, Small, or Medium Enterprise (MSME).
