HDFC Bank customers may face some inconvenience tomorrow (July 13), as the private sector lender is conducting a system upgrade on Saturday. The system upgrade will enhance customers’ banking experience by improving performance speed, expanding capacity for high traffic, and boosting overall reliability. According to HDFC Bank, the scheduled downtime for this upgrade will begin at 3:00 am and end at 4.30 pm on Saturday.
The bank said, “HDFC Bank, India’s leading private sector bank, is undertaking a system upgrade on July 13, 2024.
“The Bank is migrating its Core Banking System (CBS) onto a new engineered platform with the aim of enhancing the customer experience for its growing customer base of 9.3 crore individuals and businesses across the country. This migration will allow the Bank to improve performance speed, expand its capacity to handle high traffic volume, and boost reliability and scalability.
With this upgrade, HDFC Bank will be one of the largest banks of its size and banking volume in the country to host its Core Banking System on a new-gen platform,” it added.
